 TODAYS PROMPT : Get your GELI PLATE OUT! And, try writing a quote with your handwriting with your word of the year! Still currently in progress, waiting for paints to dry, but the prompt is up!

You can make your Geli plate look like water colors by sprtizing water on your plate with a water bottle for sprays. Spritz right over the colors to make them blend together once they are on the plate.

We can be grateful in resting with our family. We can be grateful we have a bed, with a roof over our heads, a comfortable MOO MOO, a soft blanket, a pillow to lay our head on, and best yet, waking up next to family, and having family in the house when you get up in the morning. As per water colors, this will be a challenge, USE A STABILO ALL or black water color pencil to make outlines.

Today's challenge is, add a flap using washie tape with your word of the year. The idea of this challenge is to do something out of your comfort zone, like do you always paint a girl with natural color hair? Try adding blue or purple hair to your girl and big dark shadows. And are you using your water colors this month? Just a few more challenges left for January, can't wait to see what you create!

Gratitude Mini Bonus Wed Jan 20th be thankful for something your family shares

My family shares the love and talents of music.
My mom plays piano, my dad sings really good, my brother plays drums, my husband plays bass, and I play the flute, and shake the tambourine ... (as well as car karaoke.)

We all love the great "classic bands and artists..." /bands like Hall and Oats, Elton John, Marvin Gaye and the list goes on and on.

I just happened to wake up singing Hall and Oats this morning so I decided to add it to my journal page! <3

We have to chose to be thankful! As we continue on with our gratitude journey, you can find something to be thankful for EVERY DAY! Today, Find something small, that your family has, and be thankful for it! 

Liv, is thankful for, the times when her family had dirt on their shoulders. For now, she is not afraid to get her wings dirty! Lets look at the definition of DIRT ~ scandalous or malicious gossip. People will talk about your family, the choice is to ignore them and be the better person! These moments in life may actually appear larger than they seem, but they are actually quite small, when you turn to laugh and show the other cheek!

Change is a good thing!

 When I look at the word Change for myself, for 2016, I didn't know exactly why I had chosen that word. But, indeed, change is a good thing!  

 

 Without going into any further detail, about parting ways with Galina, she was warned several times, even as admin, to follow the rules listed, so I am having to distance myself from that, because it got back to me, that as admin, she was not following the guidelines, we both had set and agreed upon. NUMBER ONE BEING REMAIN A PROFESSIONAL.... and this was posted yesterday. And it got to me again that she was doing this same thing to someone else. Dropping subtle hints about wanting a happy mail item.

 THIS IS NOT A SWAP GROUP OR A RAK GROUP. NO HAPPY MAIL... UNLESS YOU DO IT BETWEEN EACH OTHER, WITHOUT GETTING ADMIN INVOLVED. THERE ARE GROUPS FOR THAT DO NOT DO IT HERE! PLEASE & THANK YOU! WE DONT WANT PEOPLES FEELINGS GETTING HURT, THIS IS A HAPPY SAFE PLACE.
  Please let me not hear of anyone begging or dropping subtle hints about wanting to receive happy mail, raks, ect. Those are awesome swaps, I know, but this just is NOT the group for it.
There have been a few complaints come to me already this past week. This goes for everyone. Even admins. THIS IS THE FINAL WARNING.

 

  I hope that this does not hurt anyones feelings. As this hurt my heart, having to remove myself from her situation. And I hope that you continue to follow Galina and I both in our art, but I just had to remove myself from that situation, and I hope you all can understand. If this had just been one or two people telling me this, then I could understand and remain friends, but this was more than 5 people in the last week coming to me, telling me different things every day. 

 

  I have rules and regulations for a reason. To keep my job as admin easier. The rules are pretty simple. I'm sorry this happened. But, don't let it happen to you. I am sorry an admin had to be called out. 

 

 Rules are rules. This is a lesson learned for myself as well. Change. 

 

I can't wait for Wednesday and I hope everyone continues to follow the mini bonus for gratitude, and I will be posting Sunday prompts as well that will be fun prompts! So if you are ready to create in 2016 please join me with no hard feelings!!
