Out of town through June! Starting back up June 1st!

Hey Gals!!! Just a heads up! The art room is done! But I will be out of town through May 16th... I know it's a new month, but if you noticed, I don't have anything planned for May... it was due to the fact I was going to be out of town. So, lets start up again in June !!! Still would like to see some of the work you are doing... are you keeping up? 

Here's how the art room turned out!

Project a space of my own! Being thankful to have a space of my own and giving it some love and enjoying the painting on the walls!

The first stages, we used a blue measuring tape to get a straight line for stripes. Colors grey, pink, and black.

 Began to paint with the grey after we lined the tape up to match the blue

Began painting and having fun listening to the top 40 country station! It looks like a Vicoria's Secret in here, and I love it! For the first time in my life I am being girly about my art room! This transformation will take us a few days. I am sorry, there won't be any posts for a few days from me. As, all of my stuff is packed in moving boxes as we do this so it is protected. But, Here's the prompt for you,

Theme of the month is TEXTURE, so it worked perfectly adding texture and color to my walls, we are doing a faux paint over the pink when it dries. And also the theme of the month is being thankful for humor. my husband and I needed this project together. He and I needed to feel close to each other while doing this. Painting makes us both happy, he paints walls, I paint in journals, canvases, bibles ect.

Let the theme of the week be, take the SIMPLE approach at life. This has been really enjoyable for me and my husband (only if it was "Free!" ) Do something with EASE and make it EASY. Keep it simple stupid. USE THE KISS METHOD... Use the word KISS draw a mouth on  your page, and a thought bubble and remember, no matter what you face, if you will ask your self, the KISS method, you will be amazed at the creative ideas you will have! You can teach yourself simplicity if you really want to learn! BONUS, keep your white space!!! ( see the humor there! :)

Siblings Day!!! Prompt, MAKE A CARD WITH AN ENvELOPE and keep it in your journal!

Sunday April 10th Siblings Day!

Make a card! This is national card making month! Even make an envelope flap. IF you have a sibling or wish you had a sibling, write them a note! Practice your handwriting,.... use texture! Try different pens... Tell them how your word of the year has changed you! Or just encourage them! You can really give this card to them, or maybe you want it kept private, with just your thoughts! Have fun!It is up to you!

Wed March 5th posting early!

It's a new month! And wow! What a break we've had! I'm posting the Wednesday prompt a day early! Monthly Theme humor! ARTING THEME texture! So what adds texture? Paper, tissue paper, washie tapes and note cards flaps. Plus tons more. Try experimenting with them this week!

Turn the negative into fertilizers for the positive! Be thankful for fertilizers! They help you grow! Time to grow your gratitude garden!

Wed March 30th!!!

Take something old full of negative thoughts you've had making a page. Turn the page into new. Let those negative thoughts be washed away by a new fresh page. Let the positive thoughts be thankful thoughts. Turn the negative into fertilizers for the positive! Be thankful for fertilizers! They help you grow! Grow your gratitude garden now!

HOWEVER.

Take lots of pictures! There will be a chance we might use one of these pictures in this weeks Mid week gratitude bonus!! Have Faith that what is next for you, is also what is best for you! HE HAS RISEN!!! HAPPY EASTER! Oh and keep trying that new thing you decided to pick out! Practice makes perfect, but done is better than perfect. It's all about the experience! 

Easter Break, Spring Break, Take a break and do something for YOU!

Easter break, spring break. Take a break this week and try something you've been wanting to try all year and be thankful for finally making time. I sat down and finally bible art journaled! The prompt this week is enjoy something you've been wanting to try and be thankful for finally doing it. Done is better than perfect! ♡ Bonus, add a stencil of a flower! (I did an arrow stencil, but it's spring!) And I drew a flower!! <3
