Prompt Feb 28th Image Transfer! & My last weeks photo on my art journal page!

How I did my image transfer,
I printed out a photo of one of my favorite singers, on regular paper, not photo paper, then I pasted MATTE MEDIUM on my page, laid the paper of the photo on top, pressed everywhere to make sure the transfer would work, and let it dry for about 30 minutes. It has to be completely dry before you remove it. I removed it with a sponge, just watch out or you will get big gaping holes like I did. But it's a transfer, it's not supposed to be perfect <3 

Here's the outcome with my picture from last week.

This week is simple, take some time doing image transfers of your favorite singers. The results are awesome! And it makes you look like you really can draw them!! Have fun!

Hey guys taking this week off!

I live just an hour away from pcola and waiting to hear from a few friends this morning. I just have to say, I watched the Drone video of the tornado damage around Pensacola this morning. Off Scenic Hwy and I-10. Just take a time out today to show gratitude for what you already have, and be thankful and if you can say positive thoughts for this area highly affected by the tornadoes last night. Mobile was spared, hardly any rain where I live.

Be grateful, for the directions of love you heart pulls you in...

I chose to do a one page spread today. ust got home from a romantic get away. Sitting down to work on this weeks gratitude prompt. Here's the before and after.
Be thankful for love in all directions. Sometimes we proceed things with caution. Sometimes we stop loving things that we once loved, sometimes all green is go and we fall in love with those things again! Be thankful for the directions your heart tells you to go. Remember you think with your mind, but always listen to your heart ♡


Prayer of thanks for today,
Father, when I am in a situation where I'm not sure whether to proceed or not,  help me to hear, Your voice. I thank you that you have a clear direction for my life, and that you will lead me and guide me into your plan for my future. (daily devotional Joyce Meyers!)

here's something about gratitude that you have to be thankful for love. As an act of love. Use and receive gratitude, essentially the way you do for loving. Open to how you feel about this image. You can sketch exactly as is, or give it your own twist! Making it your own is that much more fun as an artist.

Done on the rv with limited supplies! Remember my backgrounds in my gratitude journal are already made, so I just sketched over them or art over them, as we are to be thankful for a journal we already have!

Week of feb 10th, my word is grace. I just finished up tonight. I left my white pen at home. But I have been working on this page all week. I rather like how it turned out! I took before and after pictures, so it really worked out just perfect for me!

Notice how I kept my own style with my girl? I didn't copy the picture at all really. I just used it as a reference and went with it! I drew hearts on the girls, and put GRACE in the hearts and did some daily journal writing about grace and how it's made me grow through love and Gratitude!

How have you taken time to love yourself? Me, I've been on vacation with my husband and resting, relaxing and enjoying nature. Thankful and blessed for times like these in our rv!  

I did this in the rv ready to post for the third, but I wasn't able to post photo due to weak signal.
So the date says feb 2nd, but it was meant for the 3rd prompt! 

Sunday Feb 7th recap

Feb 7th, this was done in the rv, using only the oranges i brought with me, dylusions squeezed orange and for the puff paint, tangerine by dina wakley. Stabilo all.
My favorite team is who ever the mannings play for. Just so happened the broncos won! This is my same color if you look closely it looks like 5 different oranges. I love my dylusions!

It feels so good to be home, in my studio, where I have all my art supplies. Trips are nice, but I feel like I was short changing you guys, being gone in the RV, and not posting any of my pictures, but I will post the few prompts with photos later tonight that I did not post while I was on vacation.
